Just got informed that the server this site is on is being upgraded today (December 6th). Everything should be transferred over and remain as is, and there might be an increase in the sites overall speed upon completion. When this is done I will have to do a DNS transfer, and I will place the old (this) forum in maintenance mode so nothing is done at this location. The new one will be open in the clear.
So IF you get a maintenance mode notice, it just means you are on the old location. There is not going to be a difference in the actual websites - forum address. And yes, full backup will be done so there is no chance anything gets lost. Basically just an FYI announcement.
